Always interested & participating in the fitness world, Juanita started her career in fitness after becoming a devout student of Pilates following a severe back injury. Working through her recovery she gained a love of core strengthening & conditioning. When the opportunity arose to become a Pilates instructor, she jumped at the chance to share the fitness program that changed her life.
Juanita became certified in STOTT Pilates in 2010 & then continued with BCRPA to obtain numerous other certifications such as Fitness Theory, Group Fitness, Weight Training, FitFlow Yoga. Juanita is the Owner/Operator of Long, Lean & Mean Fitness located in Whitehorse Yukon.
Sasha has 13 years of experience in the fitness industry. She started in Aquatic Fitness, and was a certified Aquafitness Instructor and Aquaboxing Instructor for many years. She later expanded this knowledge to include Aquajogging and Aquatic Post-Rehabilitation Therapy.
In 2012 she decided to pursue certification in land-based fitness, and became a BCRPA certified Group Fitness Instructor. She has experience teaching a variety of fitness classes, including BOSU, Tabata, HIIT, Ballfit, and other cardio, muscle conditioning , and strength training classes. In 2015, she also became a certified Weight Trainer through BCRPA.
Sasha strongly believes in the physical, mental, social, and economical benefits of being active. She encourages participation no matter what age, skill level, or fitness level. She runs hers classes in a way that promotes inclusiveness, inspires success, and heartens participants so that they look forward to the next class!

Kevin spent many years as a competitive figure skater which lead him to pursue a B.Sc. in Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. After completion of his B.Sc. in 2014, He then jumped into the fitness industry and became a BCRPA certified Group Fitness Instructor as well a certified Weight Trainer. Kevin has experience teaching a variety of fitness classes such as; Tabata, HIIT, and strength training. Kevin then went and continued his academic education in 2017 by pursuing a M.Sc. in Human Health and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Guelph.
Kevin enjoys everything the Yukon has to offer from hiking and mountain biking in the summer to snowshoeing and playing broomball in the winter. He wants others to enjoy all the Yukon has to offer by promoting physical activity at any skill and fitness level.
